21st Century Seeds

This committee was named by our former associate Pastor Timothy.  His envisioned the commitee as working towards planting the infrastructure that would allow the church to meet it's technology needs in the years ahead.

Responsible for guiding decisions on important technology issues and needs, and for overseeing the implementation and management and maintenance of Cary UMC current technology infrastructure. It also supports technology needs for standing committees. Membership is composed of members with technology experience from various fields.

This committee works closely with the trustees since many of the projects impact the infrastructure of the church.

Long term goals of the committee:

     - Continually improve communication in the church through the use of automation and technology.

     - Support the computer and technology needs of the staff

     - Continually improve the sound and lighting in the sanctuary
